Summer Market to End Early

LAPEL, IN - Unfortunately the Summer Market championed by Garlic Gardeners owner Jim Walker has closed down for good.

Walker who lives in Westfield and owns land on the outskirts of Lapel where he grew all of his vegetables and produce for the market has decided to sell up and try to find a location closer to home where he can grow and sell produce.

The wild weather this year has made it difficult to grown many types of vegetables, while problems with a tenant that lives on his property has not helped matters.

Walker will be selling his equipment at an auction in Markleville later in the month and his property is already up for sale on Cyntheanne Road.
