Geist Park is a bird watchers haven, as this peaceful 17-acre park is nestled along the banks of Fall Creek. The park includes nature trails, wetlands and prairies, so be prepared for wildlife spottings with your binoculars. This park is also ideal for water recreation enthusiasts with a canoe launch and fishing. Whether you enjoy hiking, observing wildlife or just being outdoors, Geist Park is a great way to experience nature and take in some fresh, Indiana air.

Located about 15 minutes away along SR13 towards Fortville this small 17 acre park has a lot going for it.
There is a small playground, along with well kept toilets and a shelter. Parking for a lot of cars with close proximity to the trail and river.
If you have small children or can not walk very far the trail here is perfect, it is short but you do get a good look at nature, birds and the river.
